Graduated from Bailey|Capel

Last month was my final month in Bailey|Capel after 2 years and 2 months of working in the advertising agency.

When I first entered the company, I had minimum to zero advertising knowledge. Think of a management fresh grad looking to pursue a career in an industry dominated by Communication/Art/Design graduates. Now that I am more equipped with an advertising background, I expect to be able to apply the knowledge and impact society.

Definitely thankful for the given opportunity to meet and work with amazing people, especially the 2 creative icons: Mr. Bailey and Mr. Capel for being an inspiring leader as well as being the father figure in the company.

Mba Prita was my direct mentor whom I respect a lot. I can’t thank her enough for her guidance and mentorship since day 1: from introducing basic advertising knowledge to practical tips for interpersonal skills. She hoped I would excel in life and in wherever/whatever step I go next, else I’ll be a great disappointment to her (imagine her saying this while looking sharply at my eyeballs👀).

More importantly, not only that I learned a lot about advertising, but I also made some good friends along the journey. Incredible and like-minded people, you know who you are!
